initiative of the Greek Language Institute, designed to respond to the needs of teachers, parents, and students.<\/p>\n<p>Its work is structured around five core pillars:<\/p>\n<p>A.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Book selection and presentation<\/p>\n<p>B.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Training for educators and parents<\/p>\n<p>C.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Educational programmes (with a strong focus on Greek as a second\/foreign language, L2\/FL)<\/p>\n<p>D.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Development and dissemination of training and educational material with for:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 learners of Greek as a second\/foreign language (L2\/FL)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 but also, for learners of Greek as a first language<\/p>\n<p>There are plans to expand the initiative to include books for adults as well.<\/p>\n<p>B.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Training for Educators and Parents<\/p>\n<p>For teachers<\/p>\n<p>We organise seminars where we present practical ideas and pedagogical approaches for using books effectively, with the aim of fostering children\u2019s interest in reading and a love of books.<\/p>\n<p>For parents<\/p>\n<p>We offer informative talks that provide fresh ideas and practical tips, helping make reading an enjoyable and meaningful habit at home.<\/p>\n<p>C.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Educational programmes (with a strong focus on Greek as a second\/foreign language, L2\/FL) which:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 aim to cultivate a love of reading through contemporary pedagogical approaches such as multiliteracies<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 are implemented with student groups<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 in schools already collaborating with INEL<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 in schools interested in developing a collaboration with INEL<\/p>\n<p>INEL aims to expand its partnerships with educational institutions where Greek is taught as a second\/foreign language, both in Greece and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>D.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The development and dissemination of training and educational material with activities<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 promotes active learning, interaction, self-expression, empathy, and critical thinking<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 is addressed to educators, parents, and learners<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 constitutes INEL\u2019s social contribution to the educational community in Greece and beyond<\/p>\n<p>E.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Engagement with the wider world of books and print culture<\/p>\n<p>The INEL Book Club fosters networking and dialogue with professionals from the world of books and print,
