“A Play for You… a Play from You”

“A Play for You… a Play from You”: A Playwriting Program by the Greek Language Institute for Learners Aged 15+ who study Greek as a second/foreign language.

To mark World Theater in Education Day (27 November), the Greek Language Institute is implementing the educational program “A Play for You… A Play from You”, addressed to learners aged 15+ who study Greek as a second/foreign language and have completed Level A1 of the “Greek for You” series.

The program invites participants to create an original theatrical play, drawing on the beloved characters of the books—such as Thomas, Tamara, Maral, Cécile, Filip, Nikola, and their teacher Danae—or by introducing their own new characters. Its aim is to enhance creativity, collaboration, and the development of written and spoken Greek.

The most creative and original plays will be published in a special digital volume to be released in September 2026, while the top three submissions will receive additional distinctions.
